Ukrainian Certification Company

Organic Standard Ltd. is the leading Ukrainian certification body that certifies the enterprises engaged in organic production. Organic Standard was established in 2007 within the framework of the Ukrainian-Swiss project Organic Certification and Development of Organic Market in Ukraine.

Today, Organic Standard certifies enterprises in all regions of Ukraine and in the Republic of Belarus. In addition, together with international certification bodies, the institution conducts inspection work in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Arnika started cooperation with Organic Standard in 2015. Since that time, the certification body has been providing us with constant support in the formation and development of effective organic production in Ukraine, helping to introduce world quality standards to our country.



BioSuisse is a private organization in organic agriculture sector in Switzerland, which sets common and uniform standards for agriculture and processing. It is the federation of Swiss organic farmers. This umbrella organization counts 32 organic farmers' associations among its members, as well as the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL.

United States Department of Agriculture


United States Department of Agriculture is a government unit made up of 29 agencies and offices that carry out various activities including organic certification. By law, organic certification and enforcement in the United States is a public-private partnership. The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP) accredits and oversees 80+ organizations, called certifiers. Certifiers verify and document the claims of more than 37,000 organic farms and businesses around the world.

Together, AMS and organic certifiers protect consumers by protecting the integrity of the USDA organic seal.
